Sobre Mí

Por más de 20 años he trabajado con personas y empresas a fin de resolver sus necesidades lingüísticas como traductora y editora en inglés y español de Latinoamérica. Me especializo en contenido web, educación, salud, marketing y energías renovables. Mis servicios incluyen traducción, posedición, transcreación, localización, redacción de contenido web y publicitario, corrección de textos y enseñanza.

Me apasiona trabajar con textos y tecnología, aunque también disfruto los entornos laborales sociales. Calidad, consistencia y confidencialidad enmarcan cada uno de mis proyectos. No traduzco palabra por palabra, sino que traduzco el significado y la intención que existe más allá de las palabras. Pongo particular atención a los matices culturales y mantengo la traducción fiel al texto original.

Me considero parte de la comunidad multicultural en esta sociedad globalizada. Mi doble nacionalidad (Chile-EE. UU.) me ha permitido desarrollar mi carrera profesional y académica en ambos sistemas de conocimiento e inserta dentro de una comunidad internacional.

I am an ATA-certified and formally trained English-Spanish translator. I specialize in web content, education, health, marketing, and renewable energies. For over 20 years, I have been helping individuals and companies to solve their language needs, combining in-house and freelance contracts. My linguistic services include translation, post-editing, transcreation, localization, copywriting, copyediting, and web editing.

As a Latin America localization expert with on-site and remote experience, I am truly passionate about working with text and technology. Quality, consistency, and confidentiality frame each of my projects. I don’t translate word by word, I translate the meaning and the intention behind words from one culture to another, paying attention to cultural nuances and keeping the translation faithful to the source text.

I consider myself part of the multicultural community in this globalized world. Through my dual nationality (U.S.-Chile), I have developed my professional career in both knowledge systems and I understand and operate in an international community.
